Twitter has recently announced the expansion of the new voice tweets feature. Earlier in 2020, the platform introduced the option to post audio clips within tweets. This allowed users with an easy way to post, especially those who cannot type with keyboards – making a way for them to participate and engage with any broader discussion.
However, it has faced constant criticism. As a result, the company is focused on refining its systems to ensure users of all capabilities can engage.
The transcription of audio and video is becoming a part of this initiative to make the platform accessible for every user. In fact, auto-captions will be added to it soon.
