Truecaller, a communications platform, has launched Truecaller Assistant. The new tool makes the most useful call-screening solution currently on the market by combining machine learning, speech-to-text, and natural language processing technologies.

The company said in a statement that the new tool, available on both Android and iOS, is a customizable, interactive, digital receptionist that empowers users to answer important calls and avoid unwanted ones. According to Truecaller, the assistant responds in less than a second and comprehends caller requests more than 90% of the time.

“Assistant leverages technology other call screeners lack, so it becomes more clear which calls users want to engage with and which they may want to ignore,” said Raphael Mimoun, Cloud Telephony Product Director at Truecaller.
