According to a press announcement, Tremor International and Singtel have acquired the ad-tech company Amobee for USD 239 million.

The transaction is anticipated to close in the third quarter, subject to usual closing conditions. The deal covers Amobee’s advanced TV solutions and Omni channel demand-side platform (DSP), but not its email marketing division. Tremor is working to scale its data-driven video and connected TV (CTV) products.

Tremor claims that the acquisition of Amobee, will enable Tremor to grow both domestically and abroad. Despite increasing indications of a downturn, marketing M&A is still seeing a solid level of activity.
