TikTok has released a new overview of the essential actions users can take to enhance the effectiveness of TikTok ads, starting with the data users share for audience targeting within the app and continuing with modifying ad groups after launch to sharpen their focus.

According to TikTok, each segment contains a variety of notes on how to optimize that particular aspect, as well as in-depth, helpful pointers to direct users’ thought processes. Some of these are TikTok-specific, such as using the TikTok pixel or TikTok’s Ad Manager tools for optimizing creative, but the majority of these are fairly generic notes for online ad systems.

“With Automated Creative Optimization (ACO), users can automatically create new ad creative and select the best-performing creatives as they scale the campaign,” the company asserts in the announcement.
