TikTok Removes 380_000 Videos for Violating Hate Speech

TikTok has removed more than 3, 80,000 videos in the US for violating its hate speech policy since the beginning of this year. The Chinese social media app has also offered an update on its efforts to remove hate speech and offensive content on its platform.

TikTok said it has banned more than 1,300 accounts for hateful content or behavior and removed over 64,000 hateful comments. The app said it uses a range of measures to detect and to limit the spread of hate speech. Moreover, the social media platform also takes measures to find people who search for offensive content, to its guidelines and rules.
