TikTok has recently announced its new collaboration with OpenSlate, a brand safety platform. This is to ensure branded content and advertisements are not displayed along with questionable posts on the platform. Already, the application is banned in India, Pakistan, and Indonesia because of content concerns.

As mentioned by the company, “With the introduction of the TikTok Brand Safety Solution, verified by OpenSlate, we apply a high level of safety to verify and filter various content and categories that appear next to branded ads and content.”

This initiative is expected to empower brands by knowing and tracking where their ads are live. It can be done via pre-campaign solutions and the in-build post-campaign analytics.
