With the US election nearing, TikTok has recently announced its latest addition around the election integrity measures. This is to ensure its users that they are not subjected to manipulation or misinformation by any politically driven group heading to the poll.
It adds new information into the ‘Election Guide’ resource to help people with multiple Q & A related to voting.
Although one-third of TikTok users in the US are below the age group of 14, experts believe this effort will have less impact. However, as TikTok got on the radar of US regulators, the social media platform certainly needs to be in a safer position.
