TikTok Introduces Creator Fund to Compensate Its Platform Influencer

TikTok has recently announced that it has rolled out the “Creator Fund” solution, which will pay the video creators on the platform for their video content. Lately, authorities in several countries have been banning TikTok or calling out for restrictions due to the link with the Chinese Government.

With the increasing speculation on the future of the app, the company is trying to deepen
its economic roots. This is to make it tricky to justify removing the app from public
circulation. According to TikTok, “The US fund will start with $200 million to help support ambitious creators who are seeking opportunities to foster a livelihood through their innovative content. The fund will be distributed over the coming year and is expected to grow over that time.”
