TikTok has pulled back from discussions with the UK Government to open headquarters for its non-China business in the UK, reports The Guardian.
The Chinese social media firm is finding it challenging to go ahead with its business plans owing to UK-China tension over the government’s recent decision to order the removal of Huawei’s 5G equipment from Britain’s mobile networks by 2027.
TikTok has been reportedly negotiating with the UK Government since past few months on the possible expansion of its operations in the UK.
