Squarespace has bought a social media app called Unfold app. It allows the creation of high-quality stories on Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat. As a result of the acquisition, founders, Alfonso Cobo and Andy McCune, will join the Squarespace team.
The Unfold app is available for free on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Unfold has more than 9 million monthly users who have created more than 700 million Stories using the app, as per Squarespace. The app has been used by top celebrities like Kim Kardashian West and Selena Gomez. Squarespace is a build-your-own website startup that was founded in 2003.
