Snapchat is testing a new navigation gesture that will allow users to explore content by swiping in a vertical motion.
The navigation style is similar to that of TikTok where users scroll upwards to see videos in the “For You” tab. Snapchat said it is just one of the experiments it is trying conducting to organize community content in an immersive way.
The new feature is currently in the testing phase and is available only for select users. The latest move from Snapchat comes just days after Instagram announced Reels video feature after the Indian government banned 58 Chinese apps along with TikTok.
