Snapchat recently conducted its annual Partner Summit, during which it unveiled a slew of new tools and capabilities. Advanced AR tools for eCommerce firms, enhanced systems to assist more businesses create AR experiences, and a small drone called Pixy that will follow users around and upload footage to the app are among the new technologies.
According to Snapchat, the focus on commerce is increasing, notably through AR, and the firm has already formed collaborations with a number of brands to develop both real-world and digital garment integrations, as well as the next step of product discovery.
In addition to product upgrades, Snap has released some fresh usage data, demonstrating the company’s growing reach and influence.
