Snapchat has recently announced a closed beta test of the brand profiles. This is to provide businesses with more specific ways to connect with the Snapchat users in the platform. The brand profiles need to have a permanent home page for every company on the app – enabling various brand experiences for users into a single home format. They will be able to showcase innovative features, including branded AR lenses, native stores, etc.
As per Snapchat, the aim is to bring different brands on the app in a consolidated presence. This initiative will help the platform to attract as well as reach out to millions of Gen Z and millennial audiences – in order to create long-term customer relationships.
