Smart Eye has launched a new solution in collaboration with Psychology Software Tools, a neuroscience research product and service provider that provides real-time communication between their systems with millisecond-accurate markers.
The behavioural data generated by Psychology Program Tools’ E-Prime software is coupled with the non-invasive Smart Eye Aurora eye tracker’s eye gaze data as part of this collaboration.
The Chronos hardware device, which is also available from Psychology Software Tools, embeds digital markers in the eye gaze coordinates data stream, allowing researchers to analyze the participant’s reaction time to on-screen stimuli (e.g., text or images). Researchers can use the Chronos system to gather responses, record vocalizations, play audio, and integrate other devices, all while maintaining millisecond precision.
