As a part of its on-platform shopping experience, Instagram has launched the “Shop” tab in it’s explore section. This displays a wide range of purchasable items in a single feed. The functionality has been currently launched only for the U.S.

The product listings will be personalized recommendations for every user, based on their search history and the type of accounts they follow.

This will be a good option for business vendors using Instagram as a part of their marketing strategy. Vendors need to tag their products in the Instagram post to achieve a wider reach.
