Salesforce has launched a new mobile collaboration tool called Anywhere. The new app enables more effective collaboration embedded within Salesforce and brings chat, alerts, comments, and video directly into the CRM instead of spreading out and lost across text messages and email threads.
The app will allow the sales rep to change a deal status in Salesforce, immediately notifying the rest of the account team, who can then respond in a click to offer support on next steps. It is focused on sharing Salesforce data, rather than being general-purpose like Slack or any other business chat tool.
