Maintaining responding and relevancy rapidly to consumer demand has helped Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Microsoft, and Disney retain their spot in Interbrand’s top 10 after two decades.
These two are critical traits shared by the brands that have retained their place on Interbrand’s list. Coca-Cola topped the Best Global Brands valuation list 20 years ago, followed by Microsoft, IBM, Intel, and Nokia. The ranking back in 2000 was concluded by General Electric, Ford, Disney, McDonald’s, and AT&T.
The brands that have fallen down the list are the ones that failed to respond promptly enough to change. Staying relevant is all about responding timely to the market requirement. Relevance is crucial, but it’s all about speed. It is essential to anticipate the customer’s needs to adapt to these ever-changing market conditions.
