Pinterest appears to be the latest social networking platform to try to cash in on the TikTok-inspired trend of a vertically scrolling feed of material, with a new ‘Watch’ mode for Pin discovery being explored.
The new full-screen discovery option includes both a ‘Browse’ and a ‘Watch’ mode, with the ‘Browse’ mode presenting the traditional Pinterest search feed and the ‘Watch’ mode presenting the same in a TikTok-style presentation, with both videos and still image Pins arranged in the vertical scrolling stream.
According to the company, they are always testing new products and services in order to assist their community of Pinners in discovering creative ideas.
