Pinterest Achieves MRC Accreditation for Pin Metrics for Marketers

Pinterest has taken an initiative to provide additional assurance to the marketers and aligning with the plan, the band has gained Media Ratings Council (MRC) accreditation for both display pin clicks and display pin impressions.

Explaining the new step Pinterest said, “Obtaining accreditation means that Pinterest met or exceeded compliance with industry standards to measure display impressions and display clicks. This includes invalid traffic filtration for activity from bots and crawlers.”

The new step-up would mean that now Pinterest’s metrics would meet MRC’s standards for quality assurance and accuracy. According to Pinterest, they have let the MRC under the hood to understand how Pinterest measures, according to industry standards.
