Omnicom Launches New Supply Chain Tool to Adjust Media Spend Based On Inventory

According to a recent announcement, Omnicom’s media services business Omnicom Media Group (OMG) has created the Supply Chain IQ Score to help marketers better correlate media spend to product availability.

Media planners may analyse physical, digital, and in-transit SKU inventory data and change media investment accordingly with the Supply Chain IQ Score, which OMG says is the industry’s first supply-chain-based media activation tool.

The technology aims to help marketers adapt their media spending to better represent product stocks that have been impacted by a supply chain crisis that has lasted long after the epidemic has passed. The introduction comes as the agency looks to expand its commerce services.
