In a blog post, Twitter has announced three new ad products aimed at increasing participation and dynamic storytelling on the network. Pilots began this week and will be available on the service’s iOS, Android, and web platforms.

Interactive Text, for example, displays text in a larger, bolder typeface than standard tweets and can be used to complement material such as a video post. Up to three words in the copy can be highlighted and linked to landing sites. The format is being tested by Oreo, Bud Light, and Wendy’s.

The new Product Explorer feature, which marks the first time Twitter has allowed products to be exhibited in 3D, arrives as mobile shopping continues to develop.
