Days after taking over Twitter Inc., the rule of Elon Musk continues to be unpredictable, with various rumors and reports of changes circulating online.

The most unexpected development is the potential resurgence of Vine, despite the likelihood of job cuts of some kind and reports of a price increase for the Twitter Blue subscription service. Early in 2012 saw the launch of the short-form video service Vine, which Twitter later purchased for USD 30 million.

Despite Vine amassing over 200 million users and once being hailed by some as the next big thing, it was shut down by Twitter in 2016 and is sometimes referred to as the original TikTok.
