Microsoft has now surpassed Amazon to claim the second-most valuable brand position, moving up from third place Google last year.

The brand value of Microsoft increased 32% to USD 278 million. Other notable movers included Tesla, which came in at number 12, and Chanel, which came in at number 22, both of which had a 32% increase in brand value year over year. Interbrand’s list of the top 100 companies had a combined value of more than USD 3 trillion, an increase of 16% from the previous year, with the top 10 businesses making up 53% of the total.
