Facebook is hosting its sixth annual Communities Summit, bringing together group administrators and internal experts to discuss the most recent group tools, tips, and more.
As part of the event, Facebook also unveiled a number of new group features, such as custom member profile displays, view-only chats, new tools for sharing Stories, and more. Soon, members of Facebook Groups will also be able to post a public event for their neighborhood to their Instagram story.
According to Meta, this will give them another way to highlight engagement opportunities and entice new group members.
