Meta has launched a new ‘Upload to Reels’ option for third-party developers that enables users of non-Meta apps to easily share their work directly to Facebook Reels.
Third-party apps will be able to include a ‘Share to Facebook Reels’ button with this new connection, giving them more creative options and tools to integrate into the Reels experience.
At launch, Meta also announced new connections with Smule, Vita, and VivaVideo, all of which would now include built-in ‘Share to Facebook Reels’ options, giving creators a lot more options and possibly increasing visibility of Reels as a platform.
