Meta has created six “culture codes” that it claims will assist marketers in creating more engaging, natural-looking content that would appeal to modern social media viewers.
The six culture codes include: Real people sharing real stories, leveraging the platform to signal their place in feed, using the power of artists to generate trust, behind-the-scenes, lo-fi editing techniques, and humour to blur brand-audience boundaries.
According to Meta, marketers will be better positioned to design advertising and promotions that better correspond with increasing consumer expectations, as well as speak potential customers’ language in-stream.
