Meta Introduces Long-Sought Tools for Advertisers to Separate Ads from Harmful Content

Meta Platforms is introducing a long-promised system for advertisers to determine where their ads display in response to the demands for distancing their posts to become controversial on Facebook and Instagram. The system offers advertisers three risk levels for their ad placements. Meta will also provide a report through advertising measurement firm Zefr to show Facebook advertisers the precise content of their ads along with categorization.

Samantha Stetson, Meta’s vice president for Client Council and Industry Trade Relations, said Meta to introduce more rough controls so advertisers could specify their preferences around different social issues.”
