Meta has announced that it will integrate its Workplace tool with WhatsApp by 2022, building an even closer relationship between the two platforms.
Meta explained Thursday that the merger “will enable companies to share Workplace posts with employees” via WhatsApp.
Ujjwal Singh, head of product at Workplace, said the integration with WhatsApp was designed to help close the gap between senior staff and senior management. By bringing the Workplace to WhatsApp, organizations will have an easier way to reach employees, according to Meta. The company has tied the knot about the inclusion in the report on key employees.
