LinkedIn is updating its algorithms to penalize specific posts and those that are not getting good engagement.
According to LinkedIn, a lot of posts specifically encourage the community to participate with material via likes or reactions – all with the sole purpose of increasing reach on the site. This type of content will not be promoted by the app, and everyone in the community is encouraged to focus on generating dependable, credible, and authentic content.
The social media app began testing the feature in February and is now expanding the test to include more users in anticipation of a wider launch. LinkedIn is also striving to decrease notifications, which will result in fewer user network updates.
