LinkedIn Launches Tags for Brand Partnerships

LinkedIn is implementing its own version of brand partnership tags, prompting users to include official partnership labels on posts for which they’ve been compensated.

A new “Brand Partnership” toggle is now available to users in their post creation options. When turned on, this toggle adds a “Brand Partnership” tag to the top of updates, beneath the user’s username.

Given that it’s also working to help creators improve their presence in the app, LinkedIn’s move to become more in line with other platforms in terms of facilitating transparency on paid partnerships makes a lot of sense.
