LinkedIn Launches AI-Powered "Collaborative Articles" to Help Increase Member Engagement

LinkedIn has announced that it will begin using artificial intelligence to augment its content, starting with a new initiative called Collaborative Articles, which will use AI-generated prompts to then challenge specific users for their expertise and contribution.

Collaboration articles will be highlighted in the LinkedIn feed, including a note on how many LinkedIn members have contributed. Users will then be able to see the contributors’ features highlighted in the article, and there will also be a button to add a personal perspective to the AI-generated piece.

LinkedIn hopes this will allow more members to get more information about their expertise and experience on the app, which will also help them add more followers and connections.
