LinkedIn has announced updated ad targeting options in an effort to align with evolving privacy regulations while continuing to provide brand partners with optimal reach options.

First of all, LinkedIn is adding all ad types to its audience targeting option for Group Identity. Group Identity was initially released with select partners in the previous year. It enables brands to target their advertisements based on data points found on LinkedIn.

According to LinkedIn, “With Group Identity, the app is leveraging the first- and zero-party data, such as title, seniority, industry, interests, etc.”
