LinkedIn also intends to add more identity features, providing more ways for users to verify their identity, such as ID verification, workplace confirmation, and more.
In order to offer a new verification process, LinkedIn is collaborating with identity platform CLEAR. Users will be able to add a confirmation note to their profile by supplying their government-issued ID. Additionally, LinkedIn is introducing a new feature that will let employees of specific companies confirm that they actually work for that company.
LinkedIn will also allow businesses to use Microsoft Entra to issue digital workplace IDs, adding another layer of security.
