LinkedIn has announced some new features to help combat fraud and spammers in the app, including new insights into when a profile was created, new tools to detect AI-generated profile images and prompts to help protect users from scam messages.
The new “About this profile” element that LinkedIn is introducing will give users more information about a profile’s creation date, most recent update date, and other details. In a separate development, LinkedIn has enhanced its machine learning and AI models to more accurately identify uploaded profile images produced by an AI image app.
Additionally, the platform is implementing new warning prompts on direct messages (DMs) that contain “high-risk content that could impact user security.”
