Jungle Disk, a Texas-based data backup and recovery company, has acquired ElephantDrive, a consumer solution for long-term cloud storage.
Jungle Disk’s first foray into the consumer sector with this acquisition expands its cloud backup capabilities to this fast-growing market segment. ElephantDrive will function as a separate business entity, with a new objective to emphasise the significance of safeguarding memories and important documents.
According to Jungle Disk, their backup and recovery infrastructure will be combined with ElephantDrive’s Network-Attached Storage (NAS) and consumer storage products, resulting in a powerful backup solution for people and families.
