Instagram to Expand IGTV Ads

Instagram announces the expansion of IGTV ads, almost after a year of launching an initial test of IGTV ads with US creators in May last year. Selected creators in the UK and Australia will now be eligible to activate ads on their IGTV uploads.

The aim here is to encourage more creators to post to IGTV, with the social media platform sharing 55% of the revenue produced from IGTV ads with creators. The expansion comes as Instagram continues to fight it out with TikTok over video content.
