Instagram is currently changing the look of the app’s main Reels page, with users in India now seeing a new ‘Following’ option beneath the main Reels feed.
Indian users now have a ‘Following’ link on the side of their screen, which allows them to sift through the most recent Reels footage in several categories.
This technique is similar to TikTok’s ‘Following’ and ‘For You’ feeds, with the algorithmically recommended clips in ‘For You’ allowing the app to offer a considerably wider range of popular video clips. Instagram Reels tab feed has taken a similar approach to the intentions to push the reels, with content from creators users follow now being placed into the main IG feed display.
