Instagram said it has fixed a bug that caused the platform to crash for some users. “And we’re back! If you were having a hard time earlier, your account should be working normally now,” Instagram said in a tweet late on Monday.
The Facebook-owned platform said, “We know that some people are currently having issues, and we’re fixing it ASAP.”
According to the outage tracking website Downdetector.com, Instagram was offline for roughly 6,000 users. Downdetector collects status updates from a variety of sources, including user-submitted issues on its platform, to track outages. The outages might be affecting a bigger number of users.
