Instagram Puts Recently Deleted Tab to Protect Mistakenly deleted Post Removal

Instagram has recently announced the launch of its “Recently Deleted” tab that will allow users to restore any feed posts – which they have deleted for 30-days after the fact.

Instagram noted that users can now review and restore deleted content in the platform, including photos, reels, videos, IGTV videos, and stories. The deleted posts would be removed from the account and moved to the newly announced folder.

Given the momentary nature of Stories, they will not remain for 30 days but 24 hours max. Other than this, everything will remain available for a month – enabling people to restore any mistakenly removed IG content.
