Instagram Puts Recently Deleted Folder to Guard Mistakenly Post Removal

Instagram has recently rolled out its new “Recently Deleted” tab, which will allow users to restore their feed posts. This is valid for the ones that were deleted for 30-days after the fact.

The social media giant noted that people can now review and restore the deleted content in the platform – including photos, videos, reels, IGTV videos, as well as stories. The deleted posts will be removed from the account and moved to the newly launched folder.

Given the momentary nature of Instagram Stories, they will not remain for 30 days but 24 hours maximum. Other than this, all other things will remain available for a month – allowing people to restore the mistakenly removed IG contents.
