Instagram has recently announced the launch of the new remix option for Reels. This will enables Reels creators to add their take in the eligible Reels clips – which could help fuel the latest content trends.
The feature is similar to that of TikTok’s Duets tool that has been popular on the platform. In fact, it will allow users to interact with other video clips, making new versions while adding new angles in the original upload.
Remix will now be available by default for reels users publish from a public account. Even to remix someone’s reel, users can place a request, and someone does remix a Reel, the app will notify the original creator.
