Instagram has begun a live test of a new feature that allows users to pin photographs to their profile. Some Instagram users will soon be able to choose the ‘Pin to Your Profile’ option on their IG posts, allowing them to dock their chosen updates to the top of their post grid on the profile display.
Users will be able to pin up to three posts to the top of their Instagram grid, giving them more control over how their content is displayed. Instagram is also experimenting with ‘Edit Grid’ feature that would allow users to rearrange their profile gallery how they see fit, regardless of when each photo was uploaded.
The new feature is still in testing mode and Instagram hasn’t specified when these new features will be fully implemented.
