The popular social media platform announced letting all users access the “Guides” content display feature. It will allow them to share themed content to their Instagram profile easily. Users can now add a tab on their profiles other than “IGTV,” “Mentions,” and “Posts.” The tabs will be linked via the Guides option. The Guides option will highlight collections like Pinterest.
This will help Instagram display in a longer format and also allow users to display themed images with short written descriptions. Similar to other tabs, users can share Guides on Stories as well. The feature was tested with a select group of creators who put together health and well-being tips during the pandemic.
