Instagram has recently begun sending out a new notification to selected users to make people stop sharing feed posts on their stories.
The notification reads – “Testing a change to sharing to stories. We hear from our community that they want to see fewer feed posts in stories. During this test, you won’t be able to add a feed post to your story.”
As a result, users can post stories, links, IGTV previews, and even tweets in IG Stories – and this makes sense to many people. Instagram also posted a similar suggestion recently related to Reels as many clips have been repurposed from TikTok.
