TikTok has released its ‘What’s Next’ report for 2023, which examines the key shifts that TikTok is observing from a marketing perspective within the app’s broader scope of engagement.

This time, TikTok has divided its forecasts for marketing trends into three groups: Making Space for Joy, Actionable Entertainment, and Community-Built Ideals. The most effective messages for brands on TikTok, according to TikTok, “are uplifting, funny and personalized, or entertaining their audiences.”

By utilizing editing techniques that are good at keeping viewers’ attention, like syncing sounds to transitions or adding text overlays, brands can build on this entertainment value.
