The privacy threshold for the Google Ads query, First user Google Ads query, and Session Google Ads query dimensions for the investigations in Google Analytics 4 are all being updated by Google.

According to Google, “With this update, search query terms reporting in Universal Analytics will be more limited than Google Ads reports due to variations in data models.” The new privacy limits, which Google announced last year, guarantee user anonymity by only reporting on terms with a large enough search traffic across all Google searches.

The search engine giant also announced to provide more data to advertisers.
