Google Meet Gets Easier with the Gmail App Join-in

Google is adding up ways to catch up with colleagues and friends via Google Meet
by simplifying the process for joining a video meet-up on mobile, using the Gmail app.

Soon, a new “Meet” tab will appear on the phone’s Gmail app, where one can track the
upcoming meetings scheduled through the Google Calendar, to easily join them with a single click. The Meet tab will help organize the entire Google meet procedure to highlight the option to connect to more potential users via Gmail. It also enables to schedule individual Google Meet video catch-ups in the Gmail app itself.

With the ongoing concerns regarding Zoom’s policies, people have moved to alternative
options, and with Google making its Meet free for users gained all the traction.  And, this new integration with Gmail will likely boost that push further.
