Google is adding its Lens image search right into its home page, letting users access the advanced image recognition tool directly from the search box.

Lens was first introduced by the search engine giant at I/O 2017 and has since been incorporated into a number of its services, including Google Photos, Chrome, and others. The company is now including the visual search tool on the Google homepage, as first reported by 9to5Google. The Google homepage doesn’t change frequently, but Rajan Patel, Google’s vice president of engineering, noted in a tweet that the company wanted to increase the number of question types that users could submit.

Any addition is notable because Google’s homepage appears to be very similar to what it was many years ago. Google has been working to more effectively incorporate Google Lens’ visual search tools into its other products.
