Google Introduces Customizable Ads on Search and YouTube

At its keynote speech this week, Google revealed a new ad experience that gives customers more choice over the ad material they view.

Google’s suite of apps and websites, including YouTube and Search, will get a new feature later this year. Users can follow brands and choose to see more advertising from businesses based on their choices and current interests in the ‘My Ads Center.’

The change comes after Google’s Ad Settings were updated last month, allowing users to start limiting advertising related to particular themes like gambling, alcohol, and dating, as well as an antitrust case focusing on its ad-tech ecosystem.
