With the hype for video streaming worldwide amid the COVID-19 lockdowns, Google is stepping in the game. Google already has its own multi-participant video conferencing feature called Google Meet.
However, until now, it was only accessible to the paying G Suite customers. Recently the tech giant announced that it is changing its policy – Google Meet will be available for free to all. People can use it for meetings with almost 100 people and about an hour or more.
Besides, Google mentioned this will available until September 30, 2020. As per the company, “Starting in early May, anyone with an email address can sign up for Meet and enjoy many of the same features available to our business and education users.”
